The Makers and Shakers Market is an indoor, curated, retail event that brings together people who care about where things come from, how things are made and what they are made of. Whether it’s homewares, furniture, food, flowers, stationery or photography – The Makers and Shakers aim is to give local makers an affordable and fun place to show and sell their wares and for shoppers to have a awesome day out, as well as pick up some wonderful new treasures along the way.
The Makers and Shakers Market is run by Emma and Lee, the people behind the super-popular fashion market, Round She Goes. Round She Goes was established in Melbourne in 2008, and now operates in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide. Over the years Emma has been approached by talented makers of things other than fashion and she realised there was a need for a separate event for homewares, lifestyle products/services and food. Launched in 2016, The Makers and Shakers Market is held twice a year in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Adelaide.
Emma and partner Lee, are passionate about putting on good, fun and exciting events, that offer an alternative retail experience that you find at a mall. Got a question? Feel free to email us.
