CLAW stands for Clay, Leather and Wood which are the materials maker Sarah most like to work with.
Leatherwork became a real passion of Sarah’s when she inherited her Pop’s tools. He was a Saddler and she remembers as a kid, watching him in his workshop for hours. He passed away before he could teach her but Sarah likes to hope that it might be in her blood.
Sarah make all of her products by hand. She thinks of a design, cut the patterns, measures and hand punch each hole, sew every stitch, all by hand. It means a lot to her to make quality pieces that are handmade locally and long lasting.
Meet Sarah from CLAW at our market on Saturday 2 April at the Marrickville Town Hall.
