You can find Emma-Lee, the talented lady behind Milk Thieves on Instagram, or come meet her at the Makers & Shakers on Saturday 1 April at the Marrickville Town Hall.

Fun and playful with a touch of nostalgia and a dash of pop culture! Music, movies, TV and food are some of Emma-Lee’s favorite things. Feeling pretty sure she wasn’t alone with this list of likes, she began turning her illustrations of artists, musicians and movie characters into little wearable works of art as brooches. From there the range grew and now includes magnets, keyrings, earrings, tote bags and photo frames. All Milk Thieves pieces begin as a real-life pen and paper illustration. These designs are lasercut in Sydney from sustainably sourced bamboo and are then individually hand coloured and finished by Emma-Lee in her sunny Wollongong studio. It’s important that the Milk Thieves products be manufactured in Australia and that they retain a handmade element.
