You can find Christina, the talented lady behind TRADE the MARK on Instagram, or come meet her at the Makers & Shakers on Saturday 1 April at the Marrickville Town Hall.

Trade the Mark is committed to the slow tradition of hand craftsmanship that inspires a love of beauty in individual objects. All TRADE the MARK wares are lovingly designed, handmade and hand-painted, by Christina in her St Peters studio. Christina is a multi-disciplinary artist who is devoted to the hand-crafted practice of working with natural materials and creating objects that last the test of time.

TRADE the MARK wares range from tea towel art, wall hangings with leather hangers, table linen, throws, beach blankets and stretched artworks. Ceramics are made either by slab building, hand building or throwing vessels on the pottery wheel from earthenware, stoneware and porcelain clays, with bold colours and detailed sgraffito decoration to all pieces that are food and microwave safe. There are lots of different sized vessels for use in the garden, kitchen or stand alone objects. Christina has recently developed a range of earrings, brooches and neckpieces, made from stoneware and porcelain clays and detailed sgraffito decoration.
